NUKE Launcher Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-26 · effective 2026-07-27

These Terms apply to the NUKE Launcher desktop application, project websites, server directory, owner panel, accounts, community content, NUKE Server SDK services and any paid functionality that may be introduced under the NUKE name in the future.

1. Operator and contact

The service is operated by Damian Pentek (“NUKE”, “we”, “us” or the “Operator”). Legal notices: support@nukelauncher.com. General support: support@nukelauncher.com.

2. Definitions

3. Eligibility and account creation

You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the Platform only with that consent. Accounts are authenticated through Steam. You must not sell, transfer, share or misuse access to an account and must protect your Steam account against unauthorised access.

The Steam account identifier used for authentication may be treated as the permanent identifier of your NUKE account. NUKE does not ask for or receive your Steam password.

4. Acceptance and electronic contracting

When acceptance is required, access to account-based Platform functions is conditional on actively accepting the current Terms and Privacy Policy. NUKE records the accepted document versions, acceptance time and limited technical evidence necessary to demonstrate acceptance. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.

5. Permitted use

You may use the Platform for lawful participation in the DayZ community, discovering servers, preparing or launching the game, following server updates, managing servers you are authorised to control, and using available free or paid functions.

You must comply with these Terms, the Content Publishing Rules, applicable law, third-party rights, Steam rules, DayZ/Bohemia Interactive rules applicable to you and any conditions displayed for a particular feature.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

7. Server owners and server profiles

An Owner represents and warrants that they are authorised to administer the claimed server and to publish its profile. Owners are responsible for the accuracy, legality and timely maintenance of server information, links, schedules, pricing claims, community rules and Content.

NUKE may verify ownership using Steam identity, NUKE Server SDK data, a temporary claim code, server configuration, technical signals or another reasonable method. Verification is not an endorsement of the server and may be withdrawn where ownership or authenticity becomes doubtful.

8. Content licence and responsibility

You retain ownership of Content you lawfully own. By submitting Content, you grant NUKE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable to technical service providers, revocable by removal where operationally possible, licence to host, cache, process, resize, transcode, reproduce, display and distribute that Content solely to operate, secure, improve and promote the Platform and the relevant server profile.

You confirm that you own the necessary rights or hold a licence covering the intended publication, that the Content does not violate third-party rights or law, and that you accept responsibility for your submission. Detailed rules are in the Content Publishing Rules.

9. Moderation and enforcement

NUKE may investigate reports and technical signals; request information; restrict visibility; disable links; remove Content; reject uploads; suspend owner functions; suspend or terminate accounts; revoke server claims; preserve evidence; and notify competent authorities where required or reasonably necessary.

NUKE applies measures proportionate to the nature, severity, repetition and risk of the violation. Immediate action may be taken for clearly illegal content, malware, fraud, serious safety risks, repeated infringement or attempts to evade enforcement. Where appropriate and legally required, NUKE will provide reasons and an available review route.

10. NUKE Server SDK

The SDK and related APIs may transmit technical server status, configuration, events, statistics and integration diagnostics. You may deploy the SDK only on systems you are authorised to administer. You must not forge SDK data, disclose server credentials, reuse keys for unrelated systems or use integration data to identify or harm players unlawfully.

SDK versions, protocols and endpoints may change for security, compatibility or development reasons. Migration periods or backward compatibility may be offered but are not guaranteed indefinitely.

11. Free functions and service availability

Free functions may be changed, limited or discontinued. NUKE does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific ranking, player population, server quality or compatibility with every DayZ, Steam, Windows or mod update. Planned maintenance and urgent security work may affect access.

12. Paid services

Paid services are currently unavailable. NUKE does not currently accept purchases for paid functionality. If paid services are introduced in the future, the applicable offer, price, duration, consumer information and purchase terms will be presented before any order can be placed.

See Paid Services Information for the current availability status.

13. Third-party services

The Platform interacts with Steam, DayZ, Bohemia Interactive services, community servers, mod repositories, Discord, payment providers and other third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply independently. NUKE is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation, Bohemia Interactive or third-party server owners unless expressly stated.

14. Complaints and support

Complaints may be submitted to support@nukelauncher.com. Include the account or Steam identifier where safe, affected feature, date, expected result, actual result and relevant evidence. NUKE will acknowledge and process complaints within a reasonable period and within any mandatory statutory deadline.

15. Intellectual property

NUKE branding, interface, original code, documentation and official media are protected by applicable rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences. Third-party DayZ, Steam and server materials remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Subject to that rule, the Platform is provided with reasonable care but without a guarantee that every server listing, third-party statement, mod, link or external service is accurate, safe, available or suitable.

NUKE is not responsible for a community server’s administration, gameplay decisions, purchases made outside NUKE, player bans, data loss caused by third-party servers, or third-party Content. Users remain responsible for backups, system security and decisions based on server information.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account handling in accordance with the Privacy Policy. NUKE may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breach, legal obligation, security risk, fraud or misuse. Provisions intended to survive termination—including intellectual-property, payment, enforcement and liability provisions—remain effective.

18. Changes to these Terms

NUKE may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, operational or product-development reasons. The current version and effective date will be published. Material changes will be communicated through the launcher, website, email where available or another appropriate channel. Renewed acceptance will be requested where required.

19. Governing law and mandatory rights

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence. Competent courts and public dispute mechanisms remain available as required by law.

20. Severability and entire agreement

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms and the documents incorporated by reference form the agreement concerning the Platform, except for specific purchase conditions displayed before a transaction.
