Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The data controller is Damian Pentek. Privacy contact: support@nukelauncher.com.
2. Data we process
- Account and authentication: SteamID64, login/session identifiers, session expiry, accepted legal-document versions and acceptance timestamp.
- Steam data: publicly available or authorised profile information such as display name, avatar or account identifiers where used by a feature. NUKE does not receive your Steam password.
- Owner and server data: server claims, owner actions, profile content, URLs, uploaded files, integration settings, SDK status and moderation history.
- Technical data: IP address or privacy-preserving hash, user agent, request ID, timestamps, application version, operating system, error and security logs.
- Usage and analytics: feature events, server interactions, performance diagnostics and aggregated statistics where enabled or otherwise lawfully collected.
- Notifications: followed servers, event preferences, delivery state and notification history.
- Payments: paid services are currently unavailable. If paid services are introduced later, this Policy will be updated as needed to describe the relevant payment and billing data processing before such services become available.
- Support and legal reports: name, contact details, message, evidence, signature and case history.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Performing the service and contract: account login, sessions, server management, subscriptions, notifications and requested functions.
- Legal obligations: accounting, consumer information, lawful requests, illegal-content procedures and preservation required by law.
- Legitimate interests: platform security, abuse prevention, fraud detection, service reliability, aggregated product analysis, protecting legal claims and moderating Content, balanced against user rights.
- Consent: optional analytics, optional cookies or similar technologies, promotional communications, or other processing expressly presented as optional. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. Steam authentication
Steam authentication redirects you to Steam’s own sign-in page. Steam confirms control of a Steam identifier to NUKE. Additional Steam profile data is requested only where necessary for a disclosed feature and subject to Steam’s own terms and privacy information.
5. Recipients and processors
Data may be shared with hosting, infrastructure, database, security, email, notification, analytics, customer-support and professional-adviser providers acting under appropriate arrangements. If paid services are introduced, relevant payment providers may also receive the data necessary to process those transactions. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts, rights holders or affected parties where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Public server profiles and owner-submitted Content are intentionally visible to users and may be indexed or cached. Do not publish personal information that is not necessary for the server profile.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, NUKE uses an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards. Details relevant to a specific provider may be requested at support@nukelauncher.com.
7. Retention
- Active session data: until expiry or revocation, plus a limited security period.
- Legal acceptance records: for the duration necessary to demonstrate the agreement and defend claims, subject to applicable limitation periods.
- Server owner records and Content: while the profile is active and for a limited period after removal where needed for restoration, moderation, security or legal claims.
- Raw SDK gameplay telemetry and raw Launcher analytics events: normally up to 90 days. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify individual players or users may be retained longer.
- Security logs: normally for a limited operational period, extended where an incident or legal obligation requires it.
- Analytics: according to the configured analytics period and then aggregated or deleted.
- Payments and accounting records: for statutory accounting and tax periods.
- Reports and complaints: until the case is resolved and for a reasonable legal-defence period.
Exact periods may vary by data type, legal obligation and unresolved dispute. NUKE periodically reviews retention and deletes or anonymises data that is no longer required.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to legitimate-interest processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
Requests should be sent to support@nukelauncher.com. NUKE may ask for proportionate verification and may retain information where a legal exception applies.
9. Automated decisions
NUKE may use automated rules to detect abuse, spam, suspicious uploads, security anomalies or ranking manipulation. Unless separately disclosed, NUKE does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing. Material enforcement decisions may be reviewed by a person where appropriate.
10. Security
NUKE uses measures appropriate to risk, including access controls, hashed session credentials, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, backups, logging, rate limits and security updates. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should secure their Steam account and promptly report suspected compromise.
11. Children
The Platform is not designed to collect unnecessary information from children. Users who cannot validly consent or contract under applicable law must use the service only with required guardian involvement. Contact support@nukelauncher.com regarding data submitted without appropriate authorisation.
12. Cookies and local storage
The website may use cookies or similar storage. The desktop launcher also stores settings, cached server information and session material locally. See the Cookie Policy.
13. Changes
NUKE may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical or product changes. The current version and effective date will remain available. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and renewed consent will be requested where the legal basis requires it.
